Marcia Camino, E-R.Y.T., is founder and director of Pink Lotus Yoga.  She has practiced yoga for nine years and has studied with masters Amrit Desai, Rodney Yee, Shakta Kaur Khalsa, and Paul and Suzee Grilley.  Marcia has taught over 1,200 hours of yoga classes and workshops since becoming certified in 2005.  Marcia is a writer of poetry and prose and plans to publish her books about yoga.

Kimberly “Shanti” Balas has been teaching yoga for twenty years. Certified  and initiated in the Sivananda tradition by her guru Yogi Hari, she has also had the privilege of studying with Rodney Yee, Patricia Walden, Manouso Manos, and Doug Swenson. She has her 500-hour certification from the Yoga Alliance.

Kyle Curley, teacher of children, adults, and special needs populations, has been practicing yoga and meditation for seventeen years and teaching for eleven.  His down-to-earth style and coherent instruction are inspired by Sivananda, Kundalini, and Bikram Yoga. Currently living in Lakewood and working as a web developer, Kyle is finishing up a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Kent State University.

Sarah Grau, O.T.R./L, 500-R.Y.T., C.Y.T., is an occupational therapist, a Yoga-Alliance-registered 500-hour certified instructor, and a certified yoga therapist. She has been practicing yoga for over ten years and has taught over 1,000 hours of yoga, including corporate classes and classes for special needs children. Sarah teaches primarily in the tradition of Hatha Yoga, but she incorporates many other types of yoga into her classes including Kundalini, Anusara, and Jivamukti.

Sarah Husher, a devoted yogi for over ten years, earned her 200-hour teacher certification through Marni Task in 2009. Her teaching style is empathic and fun, her classes infused with her belief that "yoga is about uniting the breath, body, and mind."  Sarah’s professional background includes a Master’s Degree in Psychology and twelve years of providing counseling and social work services to diverse populations. In yoga and her life, her devotion to affecting change at the micro-level is shared with her husband, Justin, who owns Old Husher’s Farm in southwestern Cleveland.

Sarah Perkins earned her 200-hour teacher certification in June 2009 through Marni Task.  Sarah also completed an Anusara Immersion with Sianna Sherman in 2009.  Her vinyasa-based classes are focused on breath, strength, flexibility, balance, motion, and stillness and are set to an eclectic mix of music. Sarah draws inspiration from teachers, family, friends, and loved ones. She continues to study and practice and hopes to share her insights along the way, encouraging others on their paths.

Diana Sidley, R.Y.T., has been practicing yoga for over ten years.  In 2007, she received her 200-hour teacher training from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Woodbourne, New York.  Her classes are based on the Sivananda Yoga series, with influences of her other favorite styles.  Diana is also a full-time seamstress and owner of Mentionables, ltd. in Lakewood, Ohio.

                                Workshop Instructors
Dianna Banzhaf is a Hatha Yoga teacher who invokes nurturing energy throughout her instruction.  Her training from 7 Centers Yoga Arts includes Toddler Yoga, mom and baby classes, guided cleanses, and nutritional counseling using raw food and Ayurveda principles.  After receiving the gift of motherhood, she has gained a new awareness as a teacher, knowing that to be a teacher one is always a student on the path of learning and renewing.  This fall she co-created The Mothering Wheel Nonprofit Yoga and Wellness Center with friend Colleen O'Rourke.

Barrie Altman, R.Y.T., will be with us in Cleveland until April.  She took her first yoga class in 1995 while living in San Francisco.  Barrie has practiced many styles of yoga such as Bikram, Ashtanga, Anusara, and Iyengar, the last of which is her primary current focus.  She has studied with many great teachers, both well-known and not as well-known, on her journey. The most rewarding gift she receives through teaching yoga is watching her students’ practice grow and bloom.
