Studio Etiquette
Your presence in a yoga studio contributes to its overall energy, and working with energy both within and beyond the self is what yogis do best. To help us create a great atmosphere for all yogis present at Pink Lotus, here are some simple steps to follow:
*If you are brand new to our studio, please arrive fifteen minutes before class start time to meet us, check in, and settle in. Returning students should plan to arrive about ten minutes before class.
*Create your account with us online before arriving to the studio for your first class. You don't need to pre-register for one of our weekly classes, but it helps speed-up check-in time. If you pre-register for a class then learn you cannot attend, please cancel yourself out of the class.
*If you arrive while a class is in session, please enter the studio quietly and wait in lobby for an appropriate time to join in. Your teacher will help cue you. Quiet in the lobby. No phone calls in the lobby.
*Practice with compassion and non-judgment for self and others.
*Help put props away correctly after class.
*Mobile devices are not permitted on the studio floor. If you feel a need to break this policy for whatever reason, discuss with your teacher before class begins.
*All mobile devices must be turned off--not just silenced--for yoga. Discuss with your teacher if there is an issue.
*No gum in the studio, and no beverages other than water on the studio floor (social events excepted).
*We are a shirts-on facility.
